All units in our building have fibre optic conenctions for Telus “PureFibre” high speed internet and television.If you are converting, changing or in need of Telus repair, please note that YOU will be responsible to provide them with underground access. Once in the underground they have a lockbox which will provide them with access to our Electrical Room. Please advise Telus of this when booking an appointment.
IMPORTANT - Hot Water Tanks
You need to ensure your hot water tank is replaced before it breaks and causes damage to the building (owners will be liable for up to a $50,000 insurance deductible on any damage caused to the building caused by a failure of their hot water tank). Depending on manufacturer, most tanks are good for 12 to 15 years BUT you should check with your insurance provider as they will not cover damage on hot water tanks that are older than 12 years. Hence we recommend that your hot water tank is replaced after 12 years or sooner of use in order to prevent damage to your unit &/or the building.
