Our last Annual General Meeting was held Thursday, November 23, 2023. 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on November 19, 2025 Notice of AGM will be sent in early November with virtual meetings instructions.
2024 Projects & Maintenance Skylights - Four units (17, 19, 20 and 22) had their skylights replaced in late April/early May. Rodent Control - We have a professional pest control company doing monthly inspections on our property and providing monthly reports. Please do not disturb these rodent capture boxes. Dryer ducts were cleaned on March 21, 2024. Window Cleaning - Were done in the first week of April and will be done again in the Fall. Date to be announced. Tree Trimming - The trees that overhung the back alley and close to the power lines were trimmed on April 7th 2024. Garage Cleaning - Owners are required to keep stored items neat and tidy with everything being easily accessible in case of fire. Spring Inspection - Was done in March and early April. Decks were inspected and cap boards were painted. Minor maintenance throughout the building was completed. Hallway Carpets & Courtyard Tiles - Were professionally cleaned on May 30th, 2024. Roof Maintenance - Annual Roof Inspection was held August 8th, 2024 and maintenance scheduled for August 28th. Annual Fire Inspections will be done on November 14th, 2024 from 9 am to 2 pm & suite access is required. Chimney cleanings will be done on same date. Winter Inspection - A Fall Inspection will be conducted in November/December. 2025 Fire Safety Equipment Inspection will be done on November 12th, 2025

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EV) The council continues to work with Amour Engergy to develop an EV Ready Plan for Newport Mews. The goal is to supply power to each of the parking stalls in order to plug-in existing or future EV purchases. The only variables are how much power we can supply to each parking stall and how much the associated cost to do so will be. “Fast chargin” to 24 stalls would require BC Hydro modifications and new power supply to the building but is very cost prohibited.
